FAQ

Where are your classes held?

We run our classes from Room 24, BHASVIC, Dyke Road, BN3 6EG.

Please see our pinned venue directions post on Instagram @geminipolestudio with how to find us!

How do I get there?

There are multiple ways to travel to classes.

Train: Brighton Station is a 15 minute walk away.

Bus: There are many bus services to take.

27 service stops right outside BHASVIC.

7, 18, 37B, and 47 services will take you to Seven Dials, a 7-10 minute walk from BHASVIC.

Car: there is free on site parking, subject to availability. Many streets close to BHASVIC offer paid street parking.

How many people will there be in my class?

The maximum number of people per class is 12, and there will be up to 2 people per pole in each class.

What do I do if I can't come to class? What is your cancellation policy?

If you cannot make it to a class you have registered for, we require a minimum of 12 hours notice to qualify for a refund/credit. You can unregister from a class via your TeamUp account by going to Upcoming Registrations and selecting 'unregister'. Any late notice absences/unregistrations unfortunately cannot be refunded.

I don't know what class level to attend!

If you are unsure about which class to attend, feel free to drop us a message on Instagram @geminipolestudio or send us an email contact@geminipolestudio.co.uk and we can help you choose the right class for you!

Can anyone try pole?

Absolutely! At Gemini, we encourage everyone to try pole dancing, regardless of age (18+), gender, ethnicity, religion, ability, and size.

Where can I book a class?

You can book onto a class via TeamUp. You will need to set up an account and fill out the necessary forms and waivers before booking a class. All classes must be booked in advanced via Team Up before attending.

We offer drop in single sessions, as well as class pack memberships.

Is the building accessible?

There is free parking on site (BHASVIC), spaces are subject to availability. Step free access is available to enter the building and the classroom is on the ground floor. If you have any accessibility questions, please contact us on Instagram @geminipolestudio or via email contact@geminipolestudio.co.uk

What should I bring to class?

Please bring water to stay hydrated, your pole wear, and pole chalk/grip if you wish. Cleaning cloths and spray are provided in class. You may wish to bring a small towel especially on hot summer days to stay sweat free.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! We offer a student discount and NHS discount. You must bring a valid form of ID (student card/NHS card) to your first class so we can verify this. We also offer a SW discount, please contact us for more information about this.

Do I need to be flexible and strong to come to your classes?

Not at all! Our Absolute Beginners class is for people with no prior pole experience. Your strength and flexibility will improve over time. You also do not require any athletic or dance experience to take a class.

What if I do not want to expose my arms or legs?

We appreciate there are many reasons as to why you may choose to cover your skin during classes. Skin exposure on the arms and legs is required in order to grip the pole in the majority of moves. You may wear loose trousers, as long as they can be rolled up past the upper thigh for certain moves. If this is the case, we recommend investing in some grippy pole wear, which are sold on most online pole wear stores.
